Ryan Gosling and Derek Cianfrance give a sneak peek of The Place Beyond the Pines at the Toronto Film Festival

One of the films we should all be looking forward to is Director Derek Cianfrance’s (BLUE VALENTINE) upcoming collaboration with Ryan Gosling called THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES. Luckily, an outlet interviewed the director at the Toronto International Film Festival last week and today we’re getting a short sneak peek from the film as well as some interview snippets from Derek Cianfrance and actress Eva Mendes.

THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES follows a motorcycle stunt rider (Ryan Gosling) who starts to rob banks in order to support his son. Bradley Cooper also stars in the film as a cop turned politician who is on the hunt to bring Ryan Gosling’s character down. THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES stars: Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper, Rose Byrne, Eva Mendes, Ray Liotta, Dane DeHann and Ben Mendelsohn. THE PLACE BEYOND THE PINES will open sometime in 2013, hopefully we’ll get a full trailer soon, but so far the film looks pretty great. Check out the sneak peek below.
