Today must be “release creepy trailers day” in Hollywood, because Park Chan-wook (OLDBOY) just released a new trailer for STOKER and again I was a little unsettled. It could be because of the monologue Nicole Kidman gives at the beginning of the trailer with those crazy eyes, but it’s probably also because Mia Wasikowska is rocking the brunette look and just seems a little off as well. Although I did appreciate how she defended herself with just a pencil, but did she have to look so calm afterwards?

Directed by Park Chan-wook, STOKER follows a girl named India (Mia Wasikowska) who is dealing with her father’s recent death and also has to deal with her uncle coming into town which coincides with strange events that are occurring around her. STOKER stars: Mia Wasikowska, Nicole Kidman, Matthew Goode, Dermot Mulroney, Lucas Till, Jacki Weaver, Alden Ehrenreich and Ralph Brown. STOKER will be in theaters on March 1st, 2013.
