A new poster has been released for the upcoming Mark Wahlberg drama entitled BROKEN CITY, and once again I’m disappointed. Maybe I’m being harsh and designing a poster is tougher than it looks, but is this really the best they could do? It just seems so lame and thrown together that I’m sure if you gave me a quick tutorial in Photoshop, a few images of Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe, a couple of hours and a good trailer from the film I could have come up with something a little more original (at least I would hope I would be able to).
Directed by Allen Hughes, BROKEN CITY follows an ex-cop, Billy Taggart (Mark Wahlberg) who falls upon a huge scandal while following the wife (Catherine Zeta-Jones) of New York City’s mayor, Nicholas Hostetler (Russell Crowe).
