Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum star in the new Side Effects trailer

Steven Soderbergh only has two more films coming out (SIDE EFFECTS and BEHIND THE CANDELABRA which is a TV movie) before he folds up that director’s chair, and today we’re getting to see a trailer for one of them. SIDE EFFECTS follows a woman named Emily (Rooney Mara) who turns to a prescription medication in order to handle the anxiety at having her husband (Channing Tatum) come home from prison. When the medication starts giving her out of the ordinary side effects, things start to unravel and those around her must deal with the consequences. Of course, the movie looks completely fascinating and with an all-star cast it is definitely a good film for Steven Soderbergh to go out on.

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, SIDE EFFECTS stars: Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Vinessa Shaw, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Costabile and Greg Paul. SIDE EFFECTS hits theaters on February 8th, 2013, check out the new trailer below.
