Nicholas Hoult and Ewan McGregor star in the new Jack the Giant Slayer trailer

It’s been almost a year since we’ve heard anything about the fairytale turned film, JACK THE GIANT SLAYER (former called JACK THE GIANT KILLER), but today we get a new trailer and it doesn’t look great but it doesn’t look too awful either. In case you missed it as a kid, JACK THE GIANT SLAYER follows Jack (Nicholas Hoult) who has to climb a magic beanstalk to rescue the princess that has been captured by the giants living in the clouds. At his side is a witty knight played by Ewan McGregor. You can check out the new trailer below.
Directed by Bryan Singer, JACK THE GIANT SLAYER stars Nicholas Hoult (WARM BODIES), Ewan McGregor , Ian McShane, Stanley Tucci, Warwick Davis, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan Bremner and Eddie Marsan. The epic fairytale film hits theaters on March 1st, 2013. Since this was moved up from a June opening that doesn’t stand well for the film, so just keep that in mind.
