Hailee Steinfeld will join Kevin Costner in an action film directed by McG

Hailee Steinfeld is one of those young actresses that you expect to be big because of her turn in the film TRUE GRIT which earned her an Academy Award nomination, but you are still wary because she hasn’t had another film come out since that one in 2010. She has several movies coming up that include: CAN A SONG SAVE YOUR LIFE?, ROME AND JULIET, HATESHIP, FRIENDSHIP and ENDER’S GAME, but we’re still waiting to see if she’s as great of an actress as we hope she will be. Lucky for her, the studios have confidence in her young talent and have signed her to star opposite Kevin Costner in the film with the working title of THREE DAYS TO KILL, which will be directed by McG. The film follows a Service agent (Kevin Costner) who finds out he is dying, but decides to take on one final mission and reconnect with his estranged daughter (Hailee Steinfeld) before he goes. While dealing with these issues, he has to also deal with the side effects of an experimental drug that could prolong his life. No word on when shooting will begin, but expect to hear more about this one in the near future.
Hailee Steinfeld’s next film to hit the big screen will be CAN A SONG SAVE YOUR LIFE?, which hits theaters sometime next year. (Deadline)
