Nicholas Hoult looks tiny in the new Jack the Giant Slayer poster

It’s sad to say that the upcoming Bryan Singer film JACK THE GIANT SLAYER has probably missed the boat since 2011 and 2012 were the years that fairy tale adaptations were huge. The upcoming film might have done well if it had been released six months ago, but I just don’t see it doing anything next year, especially since it has gotten a dreaded March release date. Below you can see the poster for the film, which has Nicholas Hoult standing at the entrance of some huge Indiana Jones type-set, and although it looks cool it still doesn’t give me hope for the film. JACK THE GIANT SLAYER follows the fairy tale story of Jack and the Beanstalk, where Jack (Nicholas Hoult) has to climb a magical beanstalk into the sky in order to rescue a kidnapped princess.
Directed by Bryan Singer, JACK THE GIANT SLAYER stars Nicholas Hoult (WARM BODIES), Ewan McGregor , Ian McShane, Stanley Tucci, Warwick Davis, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan Bremner and Eddie Marsan. The epic fairytale film hits theaters on March 1st, 2013. Check out the new poster below. (Yahoo! Movies)
