Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Josh Brolin and more in new images from Gangster Squad

If you ignore all the events going on in the world right now and over the summer, it’s kind of hard not to feel a little sorry for GANGSTER SQUAD. Warner Bros. had a surefire hit on their hands with the movie about tough cops fighting ruthless criminals in the 40’s. They had an all-star cast with current it-stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, along with a fan favorite director with Reuben Fleischer. But the film can’t shake some serious bad timing and I’m not sure releasing a ton of new images showing the cast waving guns around was the best decision from Warner Bros. However, I’m still looking forward to the film and I’m excited about seeing Ryan Gosling back on the big screen. After starring in three great movies in 2011, we haven’t seen him in a while.
GANGSTER SQUAD stars Ryan Gosling, Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Robert Patrick, Anthony Mackie, Michael Pena, Sean Penn, Emma Stone, Nick Nolte, Giovanni Ribisi, Holt McCallany, Frank Grillo, Mirielle Enos and Troy Garity. The Reuben Fleischer directed film will finally hit theaters on January 11, 2013.
