Rooney Mara and Channing Tatum star in another new Side Effects trailer

We haven’t seen Rooney Mara in anything since THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO, so it will be very exciting to see her next month in Steven Soderbergh’s upcoming psychological thriller SIDE EFFECTS, it’s just too bad her character is a little nuts. SIDE EFFECTS follows a woman named Emily (Rooney Mara) who is suffering from severe anxiety caused by her husband (Channing Tatum) being released from prison. When she seeks help from her shrink (Jude Law), he prescribes her a new drug that has some very dramatic side effects. Sadly this will be Steven Soderbergh’s final theatrical film (he has one more going to HBO), so we all must savor this and hope and pray he eventually changes his mind and decides to direct again.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh, SIDE EFFECTS stars: Rooney Mara, Channing Tatum, Vinessa Shaw, Jude Law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, David Costabile and Greg Paul. SIDE EFFECTS hits theaters on February 8th, 2013. Check out the short second trailer below.
