Tom Cruise is being held hostage by Morgan Freeman in new photo from Oblivion

Tom Cruise has really been packing some action films into his resume lately. In 2011 he had MISSION: IIMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL, last year he had JACK REACHER, this year we’ll see him in OBLIVION and in 2014 he has ALL YOU NEED IS KILL lined up. Today we’re getting a look at a scene from his 2013 film OBLIVION in which Tom Cruise stars alongside Morgan Freeman, who looks to actually be a bad guy with an eye patch (which he totally pulls off). OBLIVION follows Tom Cruise who is a repairman (ala Wall-E) in the future where the Earth has been destroyed by both humans and aliens. While hanging out doing his work on Earth, Cruise runs into a resistance group lead by Morgan Freeman which makes our hero question everything he knew.
OBLIVION stars Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Zoe Bell, Melissa Leo, Andrea Riseborough, James Rawlings and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. The Joseph Koskinski directed film hits theaters everywhere on April 19th, 2013. (USA Today)
