Saoirse Ronan and Max Irons get new posters for The Host

More marketing material has been released for the upcoming Stephenie Meyer adaptation THE HOST and today it’s just a couple of new character posters that quite frankly inspire nothing more than a yawn. March 2013 will be a big month for the “Twilight” author as not only does the final installment in the huge TWILIGHT franchise (TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 2) come to Blu-ray, but there’s also going to be an extended edition Blu-ray of TWILIGHT: BREAKING DAWN PART 1 and the THE HOST hits theaters later in the month. Fans should be pumped.
Here’s the official synopsis for THE HOST: What if everything you love was taken from you in the blink of an eye? THE HOST is the next epic love story from the creator of the “Twilight Saga,” worldwide bestselling author, Stephenie Meyer. When an unseen enemy threatens mankind by taking over their bodies and erasing their memories, Melanie Stryder (Saoirse Ronan) will risk everything to protect the people she cares most about — Jared (Max Irons), Ian (Jake Abel), her brother Jamie (Chandler Canterbury) and her Uncle Jeb (William Hurt) , proving that love can conquer all in a dangerous new world.
