The first full length trailer for SPRING BREAKERS is out and even though it tries to establish a decent story, the fact remains that we’ll have to watch four young girls on Spring Break for two hours, which is a miserable thought for anyone that isn’t actually on Spring Break. It also seems to rely heavily on the fact that its stars, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, are in a bikini the entire film. I don’t want to be too hard on the film, but between the annoying adolescence whining of the girls and the obnoxious voice of James Franco, this film has a lot going against it.

Directed by Harmony Korine, SPRING BREAKERS, follows four young adult females (Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson and Rachel Korine) who rob a fast food restaurant to fund their spring break. They get caught and thrown in jail but are bailed out by a drug dealer (James Franco) who wants them to kill an acquaintance named Arch. We still don’t have a release date yet, but I’m guessing it will hit theaters in the next few months.
