Jeremy Piven joins Kate Walsh and Mira Sorvino in Waska

Jeremy Piven and Kate Walsh have signed on for the film WASKA.  They will be joining the cast a includes: Mira Sorvino, Thomas Dekker, Lynn Collins, Elizabeth McGovern and Joseph Morgan.  The story follows a father’s loss of his son during the first snowfall of the year, referred to as Waska.

Thanks to Entourage Piven has started to receive more leads as opposed to his supporting roles of the past.  I think he’s a charismatic actor and hope he chooses some good films so he can stay on top.

Mira Sorvino, Dana Delany and Timothy Hutton in Multiple Sarcasms

The film MULTIPLE SARCASMS, starring Mira Sorvino, Dana Delany, Timothy Hutton and Stockard Channing has a set limited release date of March 2010.  The independent film will have a wider release in April and May with the help of Multiple Avenue Releasing.  The story follows Hutton’s character during the 1970′s as he decides to write a play and “shed his life of convention”.

This sounds like a decent concept but independent films are so hit or miss these days. And although I know she has done a lot of other things, I can’t see Stockard Channing playing anyone other than Rizzo.
